Great little sketch, I used it for the date card on my layout:
I used alot of bits from both the Simple Stories 24/7 collection and from my counterfeit kit last month: Geometric Splatter, I used a few of the 6X6 papers that I had in the kit. Lots of stickers from the 24/7 collection too.
This is the layout I created:
This is the beginning page to the Tractor Ride we took with the Alum Bank Tractor Show. As you can see I'm with one of my friends Jack Horner on his tractor taking in the sights and getting pictures. But this layout was focus more around me as I'm not usually in the pictures but behind the camera taking pictures for the newsletter.
I was a fun ride seeing the area and glad I could spend it seeing it from Jack's tractor instead of the wagon :)
My journaling pot I used the same paper that I used for my date card. This layout was also created for LOAD817Mini: Show us the fun that puts a smile on your face and makes you laugh, well the Turkey surely made me LOL that days.

Good morning and welcome to today's sketch challenge over at Sketch N Scrap. We have a fun sketch from Heather Hall:
So much you can do with this fun layout. I created this layout:
This layout came about from a crazy situation that happened last month when I purchased my new laptop. I used last month's counterfeit kit: Geometric Splatter for the background paper and the scattered embellishments. Went with Simple Stories 24/7 for the rest of the layout.
A downsize journaling of the events that took place about this laptop, I could have wrote a whole 12X12 page about it :)
Included the packing slip I got with the computer, a picture of the laptop and the 1st picture I took with the web camera in the computer.

This layout was made during Calvinball 2016. What makes Calvinball so fun is that there is rules to use to count the points for a layout, during the month the one with the most points will win bragging rights :) This is what I used for this layout. Using 15 different elements on a page, Use something in your stash that
is at least two years old, Use patterned paper only on your page, Use
your own handwriting - title or journaling, Using more than 5 pieces of
patterned paper, Using 3 different fonts on one project, Use something
shiny on your page - bling: silver triangle studs and star sequins, Use a

What better way to have fun than to have it at a crop and your still have access to all your goodies in your room than at an online crop. It started today with a sketch and another sketch will be posted tomorrow. We'll have 2 more

Hello and welcome :) It was a very busy but a very relaxing weekend too :) We went to a tractor show in Stoystown, PA, a small show but a fun show too :) We spent alot of Saturday checking out the area and seeing a couple of the local sites. We went and saw the Quecreek Mine Rescue Site, but we ended up missing quite a bit of it cause we didn't realized that we could walk around the actual grounds and there is a building that we didn't get to see. So I may take a jaunt down there on my own one day or we'll check it out next year when we're at Alum Bank Tractor Show. We also went to the Somerset Historical Center which was fantastic seeing the museum and the living history part of it too :) We had a great tour of the building by Jacob one of the tour guides so future layouts to come from this past weekend.
So this is the Double Page Sketch for this month at Stick It Down:
and this is the layout I created for this sketch:
These pictures have been around my craft desk a bit trying to decide how to scrap them and then I realized this layout is perfect for these pictures :) I used doilies for the circles in the sketch and some misting on my background paper. Our Great-Grandkids: the twins Reyn and Quinn and Waylon if a fantastic set of photos from last summer. The person that did the photo shoot really brought out some sweet facial expressions from the kids.
The left side of the page is the girls :) I used last month's counterfeit kit: Geometric Splatter for my background paper and the project life card. I also used the glitter stars from that same kit. The rubons I used have been with the pictures since I decided to scrap them. The enamel dots are from a previous kit that I still have on my craft desk (which is in need a good clean off :)
A project life card for the journaling. Sweet Quinn in the Salmon bow
and cute little Reyn in the Pink bow ( a change of pace for her as she is usually in purple :)
The right side of the layout has a picture of Waylon and a picture of all 3 together. I added the title of the layout to one of the doilies and some journaling about the one photo on the one doily.
OMgosh this photo is so cute and so special too :)
A great picture of Waylon he is the best little Big Brother for these girls always helping out Mom with them :).
Thank you for stopping by today and I look forward to seeing your creation for the Double Page layout this month linked up over at Stick It Down.
Good Morning and welcome to a new week's challenge over at Lasting Memories Scrapbook challenges
All About Animals - In The House. You are to Include a house pet/animal on your layout (dogs, cats, rabbit, hamster,
snake, turtle, etc.) This can be in the photos, stickers/embellishments,
or in the paper. Well our house is home to our Buddy dog :) Buddy gives me all kinds of reasons to scrap about him there a few coming up soon, but this is one of my favorites of Buddy the way he sleeps. To me it looks uncomfortable for him he likes it:
Sleepy Buddy: I really don't know how that is comfortable but he seems to like to sleep that way :) I think I woke him up with the flash of the camera.
This layout was created last year for Calvinball :) I didn't get a
chance to play this year got a cold and just never was able to get
caught up. My points that I had earned for the layout during Calvinball 2016: Scrap with scraps, Use something in your stash that is at least two
years old, Use patterned paper only on your page, Create a monochromatic
page (everything has orange), Use your own handwriting - title or
journaling, Scrapbook your pet, Using 3 different fonts on one project,
Use something shiny on your page - micro-beads in the 2 flowers, Use a
dark background. points: 10
It's an interesting way to scrap and gets you using your old stash.
